Only a Sleep Physician Can Diagnose
The only way to know if you have sleep apnea is to have a sleep test. Traditionally it was done overnight in a hospital sleep lab. About three dozen sensors are attached to you to monitor many things such as pulse, oxygen, snoring, blood pressure, breathing effort, and brain waves.
The trend now is to do this in the comfort of your home called a “Home Sleep Test.” The monitors are simple enough to put on before going to sleep. Data is diagnosed by a Sleep Physician. He will tell you if your condition is mild, moderate, or severe.
